CASHFLOW QUADRANT

Rich Dad, Poor Dad, is a classic for entrepreneurs, written by Robert Kiyosaki, who was a pioneer in his viewpoint and teaching on financial intelligence. He wrote a book that is really a companion called CASHFLOW QUADRANT.

If I had to re-start my entrepreneurial all over again I would have spent the first few weeks just reading books by successful entrepreneurs without investing a dollar in anything else. Just increasing my intellect and understanding of how the world of business works.

That is not the say that I have any regrets, but in coaching or consulting anyone, I would highly recommend the bulk of the time and money spent at the beginning would be on books. That is also why you see me writing blogs about every single book I read, and promote it heavily to my followers.

When I first started my entrepreneurial journey I read Cashflow Quadrant, which was advised to me early on.

Understanding the 4 Quadrants really raised my awareness about my circumstances.

My goal is to one day be only an I = Investor.

But I absolutely want to experience the B = Big business.

I already experienced the S = Self-employed, and this is a wonderful journey but it is not for weak people – it is hard work!

I am already experienced with the E = employee, and had the fortune of working in on a wonderful tech company.

So what are these quadrants? And why is it important to learn?

Here is a short clip where Robert presents some of the concepts.

For anyone who has not read the book, I highly recommend it. It is a must for entrepreneurs. Read it AFTER you read Rich Dad Poor Dad.
