Should a newbie use ClickFunnels when starting out?

One of the ways I can help people is to answer their business-related questions with videos and blogs.

It is a question I had at least half a dozen time and it is about time I record a proper video and write a blog about this.

The questions I received were:

“I am new to internet marketing, can you teach me how to use ClickFunnels?”

“How do you recommend I use ClickFunnels?”

And questions to that effect.

My answer is simple: I don’t use ClickFunnels.

Let me explain:

ClickFunnels has 2 payment options:

$97 a month or $297 a month

The $97 a month is enough to get started.

The $297 is more for experienced marketers and when you need more funnels, when you want other special features that ClickFunnels provide.

I definitely like ClickFunnels as a product, I promote it as an Affiliate, and I do recommend people use it. I plan on using it too.

But as a beginner, I think committing to a $97 a month is excessive. That’s over $1000 a year. It is just too much when you are starting out and have not figured out how things work.

Alternative: WordPress

No ongoing costs, easy to self-teach for the very basic functionality when starting out.

With any autoresponder, you can create a landing page and a thank you page.

As a newbie, that’s all you need: Landing page, thank you page, autoresponder with email sequence pre-written.

Get your first sale, get some confidence, and read the books that cover what you need to know about ClickFunnels, and Funnels in general.
