In the spirit of the World Cup current being held in Russia, I thought I’ll do a blog about it and how it relates to mindset.

Cristiano Ronaldo is arguebly one of the greatest soccer (football) players in history.

Definitely one of the top 2 players of the generation (him and Lionel Messi have dominated the last decade in terms of individual performence).

I am not much to follow commentary or after game analysis but this piece caught my attention when I was watching highlights of the games.

The title was a real clickbait. It’s a short video – check it out.

This is what I learned from it:

If you want to win in life, you have to play to win.

If you want to win in life, you have to be competetive.

You will never win in life, if you give up.

To get to super heights in whatever you do, you have to always want more and be relentless.

People who have won in life BIG TIME, didn’t just get there accidentally. They are focused and committed to get there.

Where do you want to get to in life?

And how committed are you really?

Are you as dedicated as you say you are – or are your actions say otherwise?

Lots to be learned from these super successful people.
