“Why are you working so hard?” is one of the most common questions I get asked.
Followed by, “why do you work on weekends?”
Followed by, “don’t you ever feel like taking a break?”
Followed by, “take it easy, mate.”
The list goes on.
I sometimes struggle answering that question.
The person asking clearly does not see what I see.
And there is no adequate answer to this question.
My standard answer is “I love it”, which I do, but it is not the true reason why.
The reason I follow some people is they use the success they have gained whether it is financial, or celebrity status, or social media fame, or whatever, to be able to make a difference.
This past week I was reminded exactly why I work so hard.
I want to be able to do what Elena Cardone has done this past week.
Whether you agree with what she is saying, whether this cause resonates with you, or not, is completely irrelevant.
There are issues with this world:
Our education system is a mess.
Drinking alcohol pretty much every single day is considered completely normal (at least in Australia).
Drugs are prevelant in our society.
And the list goes on. I am sure you can think of a few that are affecting you or your loved ones.
I would like to be in a position to do something about it.
That’s my answer.
